Big Project
Under One Roof ~ a Gift, Thrift and Craft Store & Coffee Cafe ~
Thank you for wanting to be involved in our Under One Roof Committee. We envision a building where we can have this wonderful store Under One Roof to benefit Chrysalis. We envision the store with space in back for a classroom and a commercial kitchen. This store would provide funding for Chrysalis Women's Transitional Living.
Under One Roof would provide:
- Income from the thrift store for the running of the organization
- Income from the gift store for the running of the organization
- Income from the coffee cafe for the running of the organization
- Job training for the women in our program
- Retail experience for the women in our program
- A place for the community to get to know Chrysalis
- A place to hold cooking classes for the women in our program
- A place to hold cooking classes for the community to bring in income
- A place to hold all our Chrysalis required classes
- A place to hold crafting classes for the community to bring in income
